Product Details

A fabulous treasure lies in the Lost City of Zar, the jungle God. When Dr. Brooks, a scientist studying ancient jungle tribes, is captured by the High Priest and followers of Zar, the doctor's beautiful daughter, Mary, and her companion, Bob Hall, mount a rescue expedition. Their guides have a different agenda - looting the treasure and capturing Tarzan in order to claim a bounty on the Ape Man. When all parties are taken prisoner by Zar's followers, it falls to the Lord of the Jungle to rescue them from certain death. Tarzan the Fearless was one of the few Tarzan movies that was actually based on a story by the character's creator, Edgar Rice Burroughs. Buster Crabbe, an Olympic gold-medal swimmer, played the jungle king in this feature version of the fifteen chapter serial before going on to fame as Flash Gordon. Directed by Robert F. Hill
