Kerwin Mathews once again stars for stop-motion animation artist Ray Harryhausen -- he was previously featured in Harryhausen's classic The Seventh Voyage of Sinbad -- in the charming animation/live action family adventure The Three Worlds of Gulliver, a film graced by a delightful Bernard Herrmann score. Loosely based on the classic satire by Jonathan Swift, the film charts the course of Englishman Dr. Lemuel Gulliver (Kerwin Mathews) when after a terrible storm at sea, he finds himself shipwrecked on the island of Lilliput, a kingdom in miniature where Gulliver, by contrast, appears as a giant. Gulliver also explores the fantasy kingdoms of Brobdingnag and England amongst his travels.
