As exploitative and conniving as the first Faces of Death was, the sequel tops it in audacity, but in a very different way. Relying almost exclusively on footage of war atrocities from around the globe, natural disasters, and daredevil motorcycle jumps gone wrong, the film does away with the first installment's staged death scenes -- which provided the only entertainment value -- as well as losing the graphic morgue and autopsy shots that the gore fans wanted.
