His newfound celebrity status is a boon to his career in law when he is promoted to the job of Special Prosecutor in a case against a vicious crime syndicate. Roger's girlfriend Ann, a feisty newspaper reporter, fears for his safety knowing the criminal organization's history of violence and murder. What they don't realize is that Roger's appointment was masterminded by a corrupt District Attorney who's hoping to use the naive lawyer to ensure the release of one of the gang's most dangerous criminals.
