Product Details

Singing sensation Deanna Durbin stars in the romantic musical comedy Cant Help Singing, her only movie filmed in glorious Technicolor. Set in 1849, Durbin portrays the spirited Caroline who leaves Washington to pursue a handsome cavalry officer (Davis Bruce) despite the wishes of her father (Ray Collins). After learning of her California destination, her outraged father posts a substantial reward for her return. Now, with a price on her head, Caroline attempts to keep a low profile. While in Missouri, she teams up with hilarious Russian con artists (Akim Tamiroff and Leonid Kinskey) and a dashing ex-cardsharp (Robert Paige). Together, they follow a lively trail of adventure where the music flows, laughs abound and love is found along the way.
