Product Details

Based on a book by the man who conceived of and helped execute this true war-time adventure, Ewen Montagu, this is the true story of how Great Britain fooled the Germans in WWII into believing that they were going to attack Greece instead of Sicily. By planting the phony invasion plans on the body of a corpse and letting the German's find them, it was hoped that they would be able to increase the invasion's chances. When the Germans send a spy to England to check out the identity of the corpse, "Major Martin," and to make sure that he is an intelligence officer, thereby assuring their use of the false invasion plans, things take some suspenseful turns.
